What the 2021 announcement covered
MoRTH’s announcement of 3 August 2021 describes the notification dated 2 August 2021 covering battery-operated vehicles. It concerns the fees for RC issue or renewal and assignment of a new registration mark.
Which costs are separate?
That scope should not be rewritten as “every EV charge is zero.” State motor-vehicle tax, other services and commercial charges need their own evidence. A dealer invoice should distinguish the charge being claimed from the fee named in the notification.
