GaadiCompass does not retrieve private vehicle records or take government payments.
Decoder and local tools
Plate and code searches, office and state filters, HSRP and e-challan route selections, RC navigation choices, fancy-number preferences, checklist choices and BH calculator values are processed by this website in the browser. Site code does not submit those entries to us, attach them to the page URL, save them in browser storage or include them in analytics. Static code, directory data and route files are downloaded from the site host for the tools to work.
Photo scanner
Your selected photo is decoded into an in-memory canvas in the browser tab. The site does not upload it or send it to GaadiCompass. If your browser supports its native text detector, the site calls that browser feature; its implementation depends on your browser. You can instead type the characters yourself. Refreshing or closing the tab clears the preview from the page.
Leaving GaadiCompass
Office source and map links, official-service routes and other external links open third-party sites. Those destinations receive normal browser request information and follow their own privacy rules. Confirm the destination hostname before entering a registration, chassis or application number, OTP, identity document or payment details. GaadiCompass does not collect these through its tools.
Contact form
Only when a Web3Forms access key is configured can you submit the contact form. It sends your name, email address, topic and message directly from your browser to Web3Forms and on to the Singh family, who run GaadiCompass. Do not send full vehicle numbers, photos, identity documents or payment details.
We use what you send only to reply to you, apply a correction you reported after checking it against an official source, and improve the site. We do not use it for marketing, sell it or pass it to anyone beyond Web3Forms' delivery infrastructure and the recipient reading the message. We keep a submission only as long as needed to handle it and to keep a short record of corrections actually applied; if you want an earlier message deleted, ask through the same contact page.
Hosting, cookies and analytics
The host may record ordinary request information, including IP address and user agent, for security and reliability. This build has no analytics or advertising scripts and sets no site cookies beyond what the host itself may require to serve pages.
